SBB Cargo Deutschland
The German subsidiary of SBB Cargo was established in June 2002. SBB Cargo Deutschland handles freight traffic on the corridor linking the North Sea ports, Cologne and Basel and, in collaboration with the parent company, onward shipments to Italy. Since SBB Cargo is in charge of planning, we are able to assume overall responsibility for cross-border traffic.

SBB Cargo Italia
We intend to maximise the quality and reliability in Italy, which is why SBB Cargo established the wholly owned subsidiary SBB Cargo Italia in January 2003 with its head office in Gallarate and a sales office in Milan. Production is being substantially expanded in stages and our range of activities continuously extended.

ChemOil Logistics
Basel-based ChemOil Logistics AG is the SBB Cargo subsidiary that specialises in the transport of chemicals and oil-based products. ChemOil was established in 1999 with the aim of providing customer-specific services on the railway using process-oriented and computer-controlled methods. Over the past year the company has carried over 7.5 million tonnes of hazardous goods across Europe on rail, road and inland waterway.
