also offers tailored solutions for certain customers and industries. SBB Cargo Switzerland represents
a high-performance, reliable, environmentally friendly and competitive alternative to road transport
for both domestic and import/export traffic. As the market leader in railfreight, the company already

of competency and with the strong customer focus of its production, sales and customer services staff,
SBB Cargo Switzerland is constantly working with its customers to develop its services. Business
Unit International SBB Cargo International's highly qualified customer
teams work in the customer's own country to develop cross-border solutions. The company's goal is to
continuously improve the quality and reliability of the international transport services it provides. As
an independent service provider, SBB Cargo International systematically exploits the opportunities presented
by the liberalisation of the European rail industry. We work closely with our customers to develop competitive
solutions for the North-South corridor. Our activity is focused entirely on the needs of international
customers in order to allow us to respond more quickly and effectively to market requirements. Customer
teams from Production and Sales work in the customer's own country and are responsible for the entire
freight operation. Key customers benefit from a strategic key account management service. SBB Cargo
International's service portfolio ranges from rail haulage to door-to-door logistics concepts. In Germany
and Italy, SBB Cargo is systematically expanding the number of platforms it serves. Both its standard
products and its individualised customer solutions are of the same high quality. With its integrated,
comprehensive service stewardship, SBB Cargo is a reliable transport partner for the North-South corridor. Business
Unit Asset Management The Asset Management unit is SBB Cargo's service
provider
for rolling stock maintenance. It assures the technical safety of the wagon and locomotive fleet and
maintains high availability both in Switzerland and on the North-South corridor. Efficient
and high-quality rolling stock maintenance is of great importance to SBB Cargo. The Asset Management
unit
provides services to the Switzerland and International business units, to SBB itself (Infrastructure
and Passenger Traffic divisions) and to third parties. As a full service provider, the unit supports
its customers over the entire life cycle of freight wagons and locomotives. It has a network of maintenance
depots which are sited at the key freight transport nodes and thus ideally located for railway needs.
In addition, it also has a number of well-equipped mobile teams deployed throughout Switzerland and
in neighbouring countries. On the international North-South corridor, SBB Cargo Asset Management also
works
with selected external partners, while its workshops complement the maintenance facilities and mobile
teams by providing enhanced service levels. Central Services Central
