Cargo Domino takes your freight off the road and puts it on the rails in interchangeable containers, delivering it to the correct address in Switzerland without any transhipment, and elegantly by-passing traffic hot-spots. By gradually transferring goods from road to rail, we are optimising the economic and ecological balance of your logistics.

Cargo Domino is a self-contained transport system with all the ingredients required. We provide equipment, arrange pre-carriage, organise transhipment, transport your rail freight and deliver your goods safely to the consignee. The principle of combining road and rail transport has proved itself over and over again, particularly for perishable products such as fruit, meat or dairy products.

Cargo Domino means

• A range of equipment - 7,450 mm standard interchangeable containers, refrigerated containers, insulated containers, curtain-sided containers
• Special equipment, including tanks, silos or dry bulk material containers, is currently hired from SBB Cargo as required
• Pre-carriage by road - from the factory ramp to the station
• Transfer of interchangeable containers
• Carriage by rail
• Subsequent carriage by road - from the station to individual consignees
